Education changes Lives

We are proud to announce our partnership with the Cathy Freeman Foundation. The vision of the Cathy Freeman Foundation is simple but ambitious: An Australia where Indigenous and non-Indigenous children have the same education standards and opportunities in life.
We couldn't agree more with both aspects of this statement: the goal of 'opportunity equality' as well as the ambitious nature of the goal itself.
We have entered team mecklemore into this year's City2Surf and declared a fundraising goal of $5,000 for the Cathy Freeman Foundation to provide 300 Literacy Packs to students who have achieved 90%+ attendance or have shown great improvement in their attendance, classroom behaviour or academic results.
From where we are standing, this appears just as ambitious as the aspirations of the foundation we seek to support, but with your help, we can make it happen.
